A Hint of Autumn
I went up to Lookout Mountain this morning to see how the aspens were coming along. The weather was really overcast, but I think this worked to my advantage. The leaves are just starting to turn, and the light filtered through them just perfectly. I also managed to take some of my first macro photos without resorting to the macro preset on the camera. A little more difficult, didn't always have so much control over the composition, but I managed a deeper depth of field than the preset allows for, so I'm happy.
