I was at Southwest Plaza tonight.
People in animal costumes like this reminds me of one of my first experiences as a new college program intern at Disney World about ten years ago. I was walking to work in the (very smelly and dank) tunnels that run below the Magic Kingdom when I spotted Tigger walking toward me. I grinned like an idiot, still easily affected by the "Disney Magic" of such things, ignoring the urge to run over for a hug. But the world above is not the same as the world below. Tigger said to me, in a voice that sounded quite a bit more like a bored frat boy than loveable bouncy Tigger, "Hey, can you zip me up?" Welcome to the real world. Well, as "real" as frat boys in Tigger suits can be, anyway.
