Of note today is that gas prices rose by an average of 10¢ overnight. The average price in my neighborhood is now $2.79. You can see in this photo that this particular station still has theirs listed at $2.67 - a full 12¢ cheaper than its nearest competitor, probably some of the cheapest gas within 10 miles. It's been a long time since I've had to wait in a gas line. I wish my square-crop format could show exactly how many cars were hanging out.
