I felt sorry for this motorcyclist, who was undoubtedly soaked to the bone. Lightning struck not too far away in front of us while we waited for the light to change.
Flash Flood
Tonight I drove home from work in during a flash flood. The interstate was elevated so there wasn't water accumulating on the highway, but when I exited there were about two inches standing on the road. Luckily, it was all very level, no valleys to drive through.
