I had the day off from both jobs - something that never happens, by the way - and it was beautiful, so I decided a roadtrip was in order. I headed out into northwestern Colorado to visit Pawnee Buttes and the abandoned town of Keota. This is a shot of some dried out yucca with one of the buttes in the background.

Well, eventually, anyway. If the link doesn't work, check again later. Nearly 200 photos can take a long, long time. Yes, that's a lot, even for me. But I have a bigger memory card and an extra battery now, which means I can take more. Besides, the subjects today were particularly enthralling.
